Our Adventures with Stitches....

Jaxon got his FIRST stitches on the side of his head on December 21st about 45 minutes before church, it was traumatic for all of us. Jody & Jaxon were playing on his bed and he hit it on his headboard just right... I hear crying and they walked into my room, I saw lots of blood and sort of flipped out....this was the first time we have had a big bleeding wound! Needless to say I wasn't any help while Jody cleaned him up. He got 4 stitches... this is a photo of the nice bandage job jody did before the doctor visit.
THEN 24 days later on January 14th Jaxon fell down at the bus stop and split his eyebrow wide open.....8 stitches....Thankfully it was a perfect split in the eyebrow, so the doctor thinks that his hair will hide it. I am done with trauma for awhile!

OOOH, man that is awful I'm so sorry that happened to Jax. Poor kid it looks like his turn is over for the getting hurt stage! I never realized that you have never had the big bleeding accidents until now. That's a record for most families especialy because you have a boy.LOL To hear that doesn't help how bad it hurts now though. Tell him to get better. and we hope he is doing good now!

OUCH!! I think I would have flipped out too!! It makes me hurt just looking at the pictures!! I would have to say that Jody did an awesome job of wrapping his head up, I love the look on Jaxon's face! Glad you guys are doing good!!
